About Dr. Nikan Khatibi
Dr. Nikan Khatibi is a physician, researcher, and healthcare leader whose commitment to cancer care is deeply personal. After losing his father to sarcoma, he dedicated his career to advancing cancer research, improving patient outcomes, and supporting families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges.
Through his work in medicine, research, and public service—including his appointment by the President of the United States to the National Cancer Advisory Board—Dr. Khatibi has championed efforts to expand access to care, foster innovation, and strengthen collaboration among researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and patients in the shared fight against cancer.
Driven by a belief that every patient deserves hope and access to the best available treatments, Dr. Khatibi continues to advocate for breakthroughs in cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment while working to improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by cancer.
